The Liturgy Committee meets once a month to plan and coordinate all aspects of liturgy. They provide the parish community with vibrant and challenging celebrations and liturgical seasons. Some celebrations and activities organized by this committee are:
The Paschal Triduum: the commemoration of the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus. This elaborate and beautiful celebration takes place over three days and is the high point of the entire liturgical calendar.
Mass of Remembrance: a special liturgy that remembers in a special way all those who have died, and in a particular way, those who have passed away during the past year. Family members of the deceased are invited to attend this Mass and a light luncheon immediately following.
Days of Reflection: a parish mission, or retreat, is scheduled each year during the Holy Season of Lent at which there is often a liturgical celebration or celebrations.
